I'm a Senior Product Designer with a skill set and passion encompassing both user research and visual design. I've spent the past 3 years working in a technology consulting firm creating meaningful products for a variety of clients and industries.
While my original career plan was to become a therapist, I learned there are other ways my Master’s degree in Psychology can be put to use. I love cultivating relationships and observing human behavior, but what I was missing in my original career goals was my passion for creativity and innovation. I switched routes and found myself owning a wedding photography business, where I learned marketing strategies, web design, and client management. However, I still wasn't fulfilled. I missed the research and continual problem-solving. In 2020, I enrolled in a UX Design bootcamp, and have been able to leverage my psychology background to craft impactful design solutions ever since. My experience in the mental health field, along with the creative and business-minded journey I went through as a photographer, has created a foundation that was meant for Product design. I've spent the past 3 years working in a consulting firm as a Product Designer, creating meaningful products for a variety of clients and industries.
